Visit to the Black Tortoise Protected Zone
The black tortoise is a unique species rarely seen in any other place including Maldivian islands. These protected species live in the quite calm jungle where there are no wild animals. Experience them in their natural environment with other endangered animals in the jungle. Get a chance to take pictures with these rare species. Also get the chance see other rare creatures such aswater hens and red crabs around.
Visit the mangroves
No other island in the Maldives has mangroves as in Kaashidhoo. Get the exciting feeling of walking through the muddy land through the mangroves. Experience climbing the mangroves and enjoy the greenness of the huge mangrove forest area. Some of the trees in the area are over hundred years old. This environment will surely be relaxing and simply natural.
Farm visits
Visits local farms and spent one whole with the farmers. Farms are over a huge area and filled with different types of crops. Farmers are friendly and more than happy to show you the plants and get free gifts from them. You can get practical experience of local farming methods and socialize with the farmers. This will surely be a unique experience and a chance to get fresh fruits and vegetables ready to be handpicked.
Coral beach visit
Spectate the beautiful scenery of the sun rise and observe local fishermen’s activities and dolphins surfing around a distance of just 100-200 feet. The area is famous for body boarding among local youngsters and is the end of the road that cuts the island into half.Many important government places like island office, health center and school are also on this road. You can see different types of beautiful shells and corals of different sizes and collect from the coral beach. The environment around is excellent for sun tanning with fresh air and the coolness from the green forest around.
Visiting the coral gardens
Not far from the white sandy beach, you get to see the beautiful corals being grown naturally, accompanied by the variety of attractive fishes residing among the corals by snorkeling. Capture the beautiful scene in the cameras; get hands on experience on artificial coral gardening in the natural environment and swim around the clear,shallow lagoon waters to observe varieties of gorgeous reef fishes.
Visit to “KuruHinnaTharaagandu” ( Morning Event )
The site is a Buddhist Monastery and is believed to have been used by pre-Islamic Maldivians dating back to 7th-8th centuryAD. The excavation work was done in various periods from February 1996 through 1998. During this period, an area of 1,880m2 was excavated, revealing 64 coral stone structures. For the vast majority, only the lower most parts have been preserved.

Suntan
Visit to a small island within the same lagoon which has a beautiful sandy beach, where visitors can spend time for sun tanning and swimming in the clear water. Varieties of water sport activities will be available during the time spent on the beach. Like water skiing, surfing, wind surfing, banana riding, parasailing act. Refreshing beverages will also be served on this site.
Fishing
Experience local fishing methods; spend 3 to 4 hours in the morning on a local fishing boat with local crew. Those who feel going on fishing boat not so comfortable can explore the beach around the island and catch some reef fish with pole and line or hand lines.Night fishing trips will also be arranged for those who are interested. You can catch the fish and serve them by frying or barbecuing them on the beach.
Snorkeling in deep lagoon
Kaashidhoo is surrounded by a three kilometer reef which is almost twenty meters deep. Here we can see giant table corals and some exotic fish. Unlike the lagoon some of the fish are great giants like mantra rays, shrks, turtles, etc. the mast interesting thing is that there are dolphins and good swimmers can enjoy with them.
Sailing boats
Boat sailing here is an outstanding experience as the calm shallow lagoon has many fishes. You can learn sailing the boats with experienced fishermen. On the same trip you can also go pole and line fishing.
Diving
In the lagoon there are deep places where you can learn diving with expert professionals. Apart from this if you know diving we can provide you with two of the most popular diving spot in Maldives.
Maldivian Night (Over Night)
While Maldives’s unique cultures are reflected in its cuisines, fresh local fruits and vegetables and varieties of local dishes will be served. During site visits, food will be served in the sites in an environmentally friendly manner.Dinners and Barbecues will also be held in unique environments.
Accommodation
The accommodation block is located at the coast of the inhabited area where visitors can enjoy a calm environment. Free from noise and air pollution, visitors get the privacy as local residence area is a little bit far away. Feel free of fear if you wish to experience the pleasure of sleeping in the jungle with your sleeping bag.
